Written and directed by Jean-Sébastien Chauvin, the 24-minute French short stars Loïc Djani and Lefteris Polychronis.
A King, Gazing at the Sea was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and screened at Frameline47, San Francisco’s international LGBTQ+ film festival.
Chauvin turns a deceptively simple encounter into a dreamy meditation on gay desire.
