After winning over audiences at film festivals all over the country, the colorful and sexy new ‘rock n’ roll love story’ Throuple has hit theaters this month courtesy of Dekkoo Films!

Directed by Greyson Horst, Throuple highlights queer folks’ ability to think outside the box and find new and exciting ways to live, love, express themselves and feel fulfilled.

Check out exclusive images below from the premiere of Throuple at the famed Quad Cinema in New York City. The cast and crew were joined by writer and podcast host Rich Juzwiak and superstar drag queen Nicky O for exclusive Q&A sessions.

Keep your eyes peeled for the film. It’s releasing in Los Angeles March 21st at the Lumiere Cinema.

Michael (Michael Doshier), a lonely, gay singer-songwriter, has lost his way… and his voice. One night, he catches the attention of Georgie and Connor (Stanton Plummer-Cambridge and Tommy Heleringer), a married couple looking for something – or someone – to do.

A nonchalant hookup turns into a night of vulnerability that none of them expected. The couple challenges Michael to open up about his feelings – and even write some new songs along the way. For his part, Michael ignites a flicker in their marriage – one they they feared may be long gone.

Join lead actor and creator Jack Tracy on a journey through Danny’s disastrous dating life as he attempts to find love online while embarking on adventures in openness, polyamory, sex drive compatibility, feminization and, naturally, fisting!

New to this season is the addition of Jordan Bell as Danny’s regular hookup Matty, who can go toe to toe with Danny in dishing it out. He’s a fuck and a foil for Danny throughout the season. We also welcome back first season alumnae Lauren Montes as best friend Sally and Michael Motkowski as paralegal, and prior date, Kyle. Danny’s dog Maxi is also sprinkled in for a bit of cuteness!

With a longer format this season, Danny is able to explore the many different quirks of online dating much deeper than before, with comedy just as outrageous and biting as ever. We’ve also amped up the sex scenes, setting up the season as a truly ‘Not Safe for Work’ affair!

Will Danny finally find love? Based on his track record, it’s unlikely! But in Season 2, you’re guaranteed to have plenty of laughs – both ‘with’ and ‘at’ Danny – along the way.

From the producers behind House of the Devil and The Innkeepers comes a bone-chilling new descent into queer psychosexual horror.

Beau Swartz stars in The Prodigy as Adam, a street hustler who has just about given up on life. At the start of the film, he’s picked up by a mysterious trick whose seemingly sinister intentions go largely unnoticed. Adam can’t even muster up the energy to care about his own fate.

He accompanies this man to his isolated home in the desert and soon finds himself held captive – stuck at the mercy of a psychopath whose dark history prevents him from understanding the difference between reality and his own murderous fantasies. As Adam sits locked away in confinement, he finally begins searching his soul… and finds himself faced with an important decision. Should he give up on life completely… or fight like hell to keep it?

Directed by prolific filmmaker Omar Salas Zamora and co-written by frequent collaborator Calvin Picou (who delivers a truly menacing performance as the titular prodigious psychopath), The Prodigy is an unexpected, genre-bending follow-up to their gritty 2020 drama Adam in Fragments. While that film followed Adam during his earlier days on the streets, you don’t need to have seen it to enjoy or understand this one. Both movies function as stand-alone pieces of work that happen to follow the same character.

The Prodigy finds the versatile filmmaking duo sharpening their horror skills – and ‘sharp’ is the right word. This film is not for the squeamish. If you’re looking for lighter fare, we highly recommend the Dekkoo-originals Here Comes Your Man and Nothing But Flowers, two projects from Zamora and Picou that feature far less bloodshed and a whole lot more gay romance! For those who aren’t afraid to get a little twisted, we can’t recommend The Prodigy more highly.
