Binge all six episodes of the Dekkoo-original series ‘Bad Together’ – available now!

From creator Jono Mitchell, the writer, director and actor behind Making a Scene, Thirty Candles and Miles from Nowhere, Bad Together is a brand-new Dekkoo-original series that follows the evolving friendship between two gay men… as they learn to accept and love both themselves and one another.

Andres Erickson stars as Robbie, a sensitive young casting associate who is reeling after a recent break-up. When his best friend Emma drags him to a work party, looking to cheer him up, he meets the charming and freewheeling Cameron, played by Queer Niro.

The story checks in with the pair at different moments throughout the years-long relationship that develops. Are these two just friends or are there deeper feeling that aren’t being expressed? And, more importantly, are they even a good match for one another?

Intelligently written, acted and directed, Bad Together examines modern queer relationships with a keen eye and a lot of heart.

It’s time for your next check-up! ‘Metro Sexual’ returns with a hilarious new season!

Metro Sexual, Australia’s first sitcom led by LGBTQ+ characters, is back with a brand-new season.

Filmed in a mockumentary style, the series stars Riley Nottingham and Geraldine Hickey as Langdon and Steph, two Melbourne-based sexual health doctors who have their work cut out for them.

In Metro Sexual: Season Two, their lives are turned upside down when a new dating app causes an explosion of sexually transmitted infections across the state.

While the first season featured a collection of short 10-minute episodes, Season Two has been expanded to become a proper half-hour sitcom. The longer episode format allowed the creators to tell more complex stories, add more main characters and write more nuanced season-long arcs, all while continuing their commitment to use the show to destigmatize sexual health issues.

Watch the trailer for the new season below. Both seasons of Metro Sexual are now available on Dekkoo!

‘Boy Culture’ is back with a brand-new Dekkoo-original series – Available Now!

From creators Q. Allan Brocka and Matthew Rettenmund, this brand-new, 6-episode Dekkoo-original series follows up the 2006 gay indie hit Boy Culture.

Boy Culture: Generation X picks up ten years after the original, following hard-working male escort X (Derek Magyar) as he finds himself up against a much younger generation – who have gained a competitive edge on the market.

X is soon taken under the wing of Chayce (Jason Caceres), a barely-legal twink who is ruthlessly up to speed on how to sell himself to clients in the digital age.

As he struggles to keep his aging body fit and his unusual roster of kinky clients happy, X is also dealing with the realities of living with his ex-boyfriend Andrew (Darryl Stephens), who is aiming to move on from the former romantic entanglement.

Returning to the format of the novel on which the original Boy Culture was based, each episode of this sexy series centers around a particular client from which X learns – or specifically fails to learn – a lesson.

Derek Magyar and Darryl Stephens, the stars of the original film, are back for this brand-new installment, surrounded by many adorable new faces.

Older, wiser and more incisive than ever, Boy Culture: Generation X has a lot to say about love, sex, relationships and aging gracefully in a culture that often values youthful good looks above all else.

Watch the trailer for Boy Culture: Generation X below. Both the series and the original film are available now on Dekkoo!

Dekkoo in Depth: Ross sits down with ‘Danny Will Die Alone’ creator and star Jack Tracy

In the video below, Ross sits down for an in-depth interview with Jack Tracy, creator and star of the hilarious and refreshingly direct new Dekkoo-original comedy series Danny Will Die Alone.

Born out of Tracy’s own post-pandemic dating life, the proudly jaw-dropping series follows one single man through the hell-scape of gay courtship in New York City – where he screws his way through the apps in an increasingly desperate search for his one true love.

Recently single after a devastating breakup – and freshly entering a mid-life crisis – Danny finds the dating scene markedly different from the last time he was on the market. Emotional unavailability, fear of commitment and hyper-sexuality abound, all while Danny remains blissfully unaware of his own multitude of flaws.

In Season One, Danny’s attempts at finding romance begin with a failed attempt at converting a hung hookup to a possible partner and end with hiring a professional matchmaker when the apps stop doing their job. Along the way he meets hipsters, conservatives, spiritual beings, sex gurus, sexual novices and even enters his ‘top era’ due to an overabundance of seemingly unwanted bottoms.

Rude, crude and unabashedly judgmental, Danny Will Die Alone serves the relatability missing from modern dating while adding a healthy dose of ‘did he really just say that?’ comedy. In addition to the humor, the series takes a critical look at modern dating, dating app etiquette and shifting relationship styles.

Don’t miss the delightfully insane (and insanely funny) new queer comedy series ‘Marque and Hector’

We’ve seen generations of cisgender men playing trans women in media. Maybe it’s time we flip the script and let a trans woman play a cisgender man for once!

Welcome to the hilarious world of Marque and Hector, a brand-new, hysterically funny web series in which gender norms have been torn to shreds and put together ass-backwards.

Joslyn DeFreece stars as Marque, an aging gay queen who is thirsty for YouTube fame and enlists the help of his dumb-as-a-bucket houseboy Hector (played by Linus Ignatius) in his mission to conquer the interwebs.

Woefully stupid, but gifted with a heart of gold, Hector proudly serves as Marque’s Vanna White, his magician’s assistant and his punching bag. The only problem? Marque bungles everything he touches — including his hopes and dreams.

In an age where representation is so sensitive and some productions feel like they’re only allowed to portray LGBTQ+ characters in a heroic light, this joyously demented comedy series is here to remind everyone that trans, queer and gender-noncomforming people are still allowed to be funny as hell!

Watch the trailer for Marque and Hector below. The full 5-episode first season is now streaming on Dekkoo.
